Management have not stated officially what the issue is.
It has been mentioned that as this is a demerger it is more complicated (and beneficial) than an IPO (tax rulings need to be got to save us all paying capital gains unfairly etc).
Also mentioned has been the difficulty of getting independant geo and getting things thru ASIC and ASX as they are all busy and there has been extra hoops put in the way of junior minors to ensure everything is spot on.
