You can trade after hours as in after 4pm as a bid tongleite. The ASX does some balancing formula to find the average price to execute on, on some brokers it will show the price to be executed at 4:10 pm. So lets say that if you had an order for 4000 shares at 5$ limit, and the price to execute was 4.6, at 4:10, your order will be executed for 4000 shares at 4.6. This trade is not restricted to institutional traders, you are able to sell as well, though would need a dynamic data package to be able to see this "price to be executed on" (I believe).
