It is unavoidable that traders will have a field day to bet on both side (short or long). Small holders (like me) will just have to hold their breath and stick to their strategy. Some are happy to get 5%, 10%, 20% or just a peace of mind to get dividends year on year. I think what gets an investor caught is when greed started to get the better of them that they do not stick to their strategy or Pride to admit that they made a bad decision.
That is just my opinion based on my experience so I try to watch myself and make sure I am not being Greedy or having too much Pride.
