Just a quick question, I can appreciate all these utilities stock piling U3O8 but who does the actual manufacture (formation) of the rods that create nuclear fission. I've an appreciation of the theory behind fission, but surely some other entity must manufacture rods etc, the power stations don't do it and we don't just chuck a couple of drums in the pond, so if someone could enrich our brains as to how this actually occurs, I for one would be most grateful.
