Why can't they drop a new deal bombshell at a trade show? It makes perfect sense to me and as a matter of fact for most of the reasons you mention above..
It will make absolute maximum impact with the industry.

Please explain the extra cost? They already have the stand there and don't think they will be able to put on a fireworks display? In fact I think it would keep cost down because if they do a big launch at the IBC then they are in fact killing 2 birds with one stone..
