re: big news...here it is SCD, at the end of the article you posted it states in reference to Gardasil sales that,"The uptake in the US has been extremely high".
Merck reported in it's June quarterly that sales in the US for the 12 day period from 19/6/06 to 30/6/06 were US$10 million!!!
With UK and European sales just beginning, US$1billion+ per annum appears to be very achievable
