Hairyback, Australians have woken up to Tony Abbott's self-serving media stunts. They're now sickened by them!

Based on what Abbott DID to indigenous Australia as PM, it's apparent that he learnt nothing of value from his previous impositions on remote indigenous communities. IMO he used the limited insights he gained against indigenous Australians as his media stunts raised expectations that were completely hollow.

IMO he is unlikely to add anything more than even greater toxicity to the debate as he yet again uses such exercises to promote his self-serving, ideologically inspired agenda.

As for Abbott's great big PROMISE of a referendum to better recognise our indigenous peoples in the Constitution within 12 months of his taking office in September 2013; ..... well it's now almost September 2016 and guess what!
