    Marinated fish

    Marinate four cod or other fish fillets, in the following for at least 1 hour, but preferably longer, in the fridge:

    ¼ cup sake

    ¼ cup mirin

    2 to 4 tablespoons white miso paste

    2 to 3 tablespoons brown sugar honey or maple syrup

    place each fillet on two layers of individual foil or baking paper

    barbecue on the charcoal webber with the lid on or off, until just done
