well I can vividly remember the F3 (M1) at the Southern end, where they laid the concrete roadway, then the promptly dug it all up again, and relaid it!
I was mortified, because I was sitting in a traffic jam, watching them dig up the concrete pavement.
I also remember the cracks of which you speak, and one can see that they have attempted to fill those cracks with a bituminous material.
If ever there was a case for Edencrete, there it is.
