The issue with this price spike is how much of it is caused by a) singular events such as domestic supply chain disruption and b) paper trading and c) lead up to quarterly price negotiations
How much is actually due to fundamentals of supply and demand and so sustainable and how much will evaporate long before CKA can be in production.
Please also dont forget these prices refer to premium hard coking coal. there are only a very very small handful of coals that trade at thsi actual price. There is zero disclosed by CKA that supports the assertion that 100% of its life of mine production belongs in that select group.
Just because someone else owns a Ferrari it doesn't mean all cars can perform the same or sell for the same price. Some of them are Kijangs and will always be so.
