I use optus cable... excellent for trading... webpages on all stock sites e.g. comsec update in an instant... its almost live depending how quick you can press the refresh button.
Also you can watch live movies/film clips etc and anything you want to download is super quick. I'm very impressed and didn't expect such speed when I joined.
Also very reliable, never drops out and you are always connected.
Not sure about the telstra service... they used to have a few problems...
