AJL's advantage is that they can pipe the gas directly into the grid. No LNG costs...monetary and/or environmental. Value adding opportunities instead. Maybe new CCGT electricity generation sited somewhere on the Bowland acres...
And it ticks the Brexit boxes of jobs, tax revenue, Energy Security..produce rather than import energyfrom the "enemy"
IMO Brexit was the changer for UK shale.
