JE, keep punching...great questions to date and you are being a detached realist. Nothing wrong with that. Again I state, I am impartial from the outside looking in. I must say though - this is almost like déjà vu.
Sounds eerily similar to the $100m LOi with an American Company that apparently agreed to an enormous order with another ASX tv ticker code / penny stock recently only for the announcement to be withdrawn abruptly and NOW suspended for an indefinite period likely to enter VA. That deal was with reputable US company AT&T, management of the Australian company not so reputable in retrospect it seems - a lot of holders there more than likely about to lose all and the pump was HUGE. These threads have a very distinct resemblance to days gone by over there. The pumpers, the believers, the emotionally invested, the down rampers, the realists, the researched erring caution and the absolute non believers. For the record, I was representing the erring caution sentiment.
Holders need not attack those that offer caution as we may have seen it all before. I agree, this deal may be legit and I hope it is - but certainly it needs looking into. Research - surely if this African company has worldwide offices then they have telephone lines and receptionists ? They really should have a website - is a valuable start up necessity is it not, the exposure to the web ? These are the very first ingredients of getting a business off the ground in the modern world - phones, website, Internet connection and staff ?? Particularly in the field in which TV2 is operating....technology is paramount. It concerns me to hear that the new partner has no presence, online. If it is that they are a start up - how do we connect a $1m payment to TV2....where does it come from ? How can one attain the financials of this new partner to see if they are; well hopefully financial ?? These are important questions... When you go to the bank to buy a house and need a loan, the bank wants to know about us don't they ? However, can we accept an Announcement declaring a deal worth $1m to TV2 from a company that has only been found to exist very recently with no financials provided (at this stage) ?? Hopefully some of the holders can dig more and really show that this is the real deal.
Therefore, leave your emotions at the door, it hurts more than money sense ever will. It is your money that you have invested and your heads as holders need to help you find where your investment is headed. Look a little deeper into this - if I was invested I certainly would be looking into this deal and wanting answers to the questions above. The recent qtrly revenue income V the qtrly outgoings was the big warning sign for me.....again, eerily similar to the other TV ticker. Now a deal with a company that has no presence from Africa.....well, I hear bells - those of warning.
