A belated thanks Vintage as reading through your posts and research (sometimes look in wrong threads as only just come across some of the recent stuff you posted). Making sense what outcomes may be which is 2 (ADRC added to Intel Solutions Alliance Solutions Directory or 3 (ADRC is adopted by Intel as part of the unified software licencing model').

In inviting XPED to OCF is interesting as trying to work out what Intel's strategy would be beyond 3 and doing a licencing deal with XPED. Re: if possible takeover could still be on the cards but really not critical as licencing deal with world's largest chip manufacturer would be enough for me. As wondering if made available XPED's ADRC source code as open source that would enable Intel to take over XPED but not restrict the availability of ADRC but then be in a position with a universally adopted standard, and monetise other elements around the core ADRC technology. Trying to think if we have had a similar precedent here. I tend to steer more away from Intel deal and more likely licencing deal, with Intel well positioned to work with their OEM's and ODM's to be early adopter and first mover in this space. Interested in your thoughts @vintage here if you have the time or inclination.
