I see, so essentailly one's picks can be either or both a combination of FA or TA driven behind the basis of being picked? With the CBQ example you stated out of curiousity do most traders deal with small parcels due to the risk and liquidity involved at these smaller ends of the markets? So say taking 30,40, 100% on parcels of $2000 for example, or do most traders here play big to win big and get out quickly? Just curious for my own self-reflection. Once a tip or suggestion is made, it appears it's recorded into a spreadsheet - is it avialable to open, or only view by image each week on these threads? I assume the recording goes on indefinitely but only the on-going 4 week rolling winners are tallied and shown from what I can see at the top? Are those who close their position required or usually disclose when they have closed on their tip? Or any attempt to track resulting profit and or losses therefore and add some transparency/accountability?
Thanks - i missed the STT knowledge library, I will have to find this as I quickly skimmed through previously. Seems like a good community knowledge to highlight FA and TA short term trades. FA wise is the emphasis on short term trading undervalued stocks, rather than highlighting FA driven value stocks and holding for the long term? I assume the emphasis is even if it is fundamentally sound/solid and undervalued, to tip it and make profits for the short term, as this isn't a value investor thread?
THanks for the welcome. Am brushing up on learning the ropes of TA but hope that one day I will add to that 'Fabric' you mentioned. I guess the hardest part as a newbie is knowing how to set a methodology on entering and exiting - but hopefully some scouring of the STT knowledge library will cover that, as will other users reflections/posts on successful and unsuccessful trades (probably more important on the unsuccessful ones, as a newbie it is alot harder knowing when to call an exit/methodology to ditch a stock, versus holding on for it to come true - something I'm sure seasoned tipsters are alot better at calling when things get dicey so that they aren't shaken out of a position on a dip down , or know when to take profit on a good run up that they know won't be sustained).
Let me know if I post anything out of line with what is allowed or good practice... will try and lurk moreso.
