I don't think you have read the notice correctly. The director has traded in order to exercise options and increase his FPO base.
Prenotice he held 4,791,800 shares plus options
Post notice he holds 6,361,800 shares plus some options
I don't hold GDN although I should be as I had a chance at about 60 cents - sometimes I just think too slowly!!
