No doubt a slowdown or even a breather is inevitable, but a retrace seems highly unlikely....
But with Cigar Lake out of the picture (and perhaps for good), there will be a scramble on for supply....factor in the numerous nuclear power plants either being constructed or in the pipeline and market forces might just surprise us all.
No one will want to have their multi-billion dollar investment sitting idle.....the price of U is insignificant in the total cost of generating electricity from nuclear power - the capital expenditure to build such facilities is massive, and by far the overwhelming cost input (greater than 90%).
It seems plausible then that these investors might just be willing to bid that little bit more than their competitors....
