Why did the share price spike to 5.4 cents in the ten minutes prior to the company announcement of his resignation and why hasn't it got back there yet.... Nearly one cent off still.

The thread has so many views because the resignation again was handled poorly by the company, twice now. Many investors, myself included saw his experience as a vital component to XPED future and investment decision were made taking this into account. The company must have known the reaction by shareholders (previous Lisa Zhang departure surely would have given them an idea) and could have had a comment from JS about his departure to allay any concerns that SH may have had. Like the way they heaped praise on lekkas to try and justify the new performance shares.

Maybe I'm sceptical but If they did a better job at this issue then the targets for the performance shares probably would have seemed pretty unjustified and this way it may take them a few months instead of weeks if not days to achieve. IMO they are still way too low, given where the MC has already been.

CW and JS have been friend well before he joined XPE and is evident in the FB comments made as early as 2012 between the pair, well before his appointment in 2014. He had a personal connection to the founders and IMO his motivation to get the company to succeed would have been his highest priority. He is not out to destroy something he has a personal connection to IMO. Everyone now dismisses his ability and all this "what did he do for the company" talk is rubbish. He was instrumental to getting XPE where it is today. His CV speaks for itself and he is a rather large loss to the company. Coming from a previous long term investor.
