Road travel... Another storm in a Tea cup it seems ... Mines in WA have had to deal with dirt roads for at least 100+ yrs
The vast majority of mines in WA are accessed by gravel roads including, I might add, PLS's Pilgangoora. The very large and profitable mines can justify the cost of created a sealed road and or rail.

KDR - 120km of good quality gravel roads to POS Lake Johnston Mill are open approx 8-9 months of year during dryer seasons Autumn-Summer-Spring will be difficult/impassable in periods during the wet 4 months May - Aug ... Problem to be overcome by stockpiling both unprocessed ore in dry months at Lake Johnston and stockpiling processed ore during wet months at Lake Johnstone all ore and concentrate then trucked in Dry months. Its not rocket science.

PLS - 20km approx. to sealed highway to Port Hedland - Gravel Roads Open 10-11 month year (depending on Summer Cyclone Flooding Damage etc ) impassable with a large trucks during that time. Assuming PLS will produced concentrate onsite containing 6% Lithium... This is still a bulk commodity and will need to be transported in large heavy trucks to Port Hedland. So whether the road is 120km long or 20km it is equally impassable in the wet seasons. I would expect that PLS would attempt to mitigate this risk by building an all weather road to the Great Northern Highway given the 20km distance to Hwy. From there is 100km by Road approx. to Port Hedland. Do I know the area well ...Yes, lived in Pilbara previously for many years.

The point is that stockpiling can be the solution to impassable roads during the various wet seasons. This still means that KDR can get to market well before PLS ...Assuming they don't take the option reactivate/revamp their own old plant onsite that is. In which care they will need to ship concentrate to the Sealed Hyden Lake King Road or the Marvel Loch Sealed Roads Prob 50km...Ports at Esperance or Albany is prob the closest port as the crow flys but Perth/Fremantle or Bunbury may also be an option.
