In my opinion it's more about the underlying technology (patent pending) that's going to see DigitalX succeed or not.

Is Square available in Australia?

Here in the States if I go to a coffee shop more often than not these days I get presented with an iPad that allows me to swipe my card, enter a tip amount, accept and then sign. This is actually powered by Square yet it's not openly advertised as such. It's just a new system that allows shop owners a much easier way of handling their transactions online. Something Square did very well at beating PayPal too.

My guess is no one at Telefonica cares too much about the actual AirPocket app (front-end) as much as they do the backend and how the blockchain system they've created can improve efficiency and more importantly save on their bottom line.

Whatever they can see on the backend regarding transactions and how that data is collated is probably what's more important to them. Hence, why they are probably not in a hurry to get people to download the App. They're probably content slowly monitoring and evaluating this new blockchain tech and (if happy) fazing out old legacy systems. Great for them but a slow and tiresome wait for us.

Regarding the PR agency, in my opinion they're doing about a good a job as RedChip were. I'm eager to know what kind of KPI's DigitalX have set for them with regard to increasing followers, etc. It's no secret I work in Digital and I wouldn't be happy with the progress thus far (as I'm not as a shareholder). They need to come up with a few more catchier yet informative posts about what it is AirPocket does.

I don't know the stats but who's doing the money sending? A bunch of female millennial immigrants or males?

At the moment I'm happy that Management have finally put some milestones/deadlines for us to look forward to. A new Telco partner to be announced this month PLUS stats of the SMS campaign. Then by December the announcement of a Remittance partner and the releasing of the remittance product. If they can keep to these (I won't say promises) but indicated timelines I'll be happy.
