The answer is that the drug has been tested and proven. Suggest you look at the Announcements re trials.

Do you really think that the appointed Scientists are testing H2o in vitro instead of that drug?

These are respected men, who, when they make a statement on the drug's effectiveness against H. Pylori and the Superbug mean exactly what they are saying.

Others posters have dealt with the distribution of that drug. Suffice to say that if the drug is successful for human use, the distribution will be quite different.

For starters, although they haven't said so, they would use a Partner for phase III anyway.
