I have just spoken with Richard Sciano. I asked when we can expect log results and what sort of information we are likely to get.

He said that interpretation of the logs has proved more difficult than expected and this has delayed the announcement. Also, they don't want to put something out that comes back to bite them-they want to get it right. He said the logs are complex with alot of data to be interpreted.

However, they hope to be able to release the interpretation tomorrow but in any case by Friday, so not long now.

I mentioned that he would be aware of the gyrations in the sp and that everyone is "holding their breath" and perhaps assuming that the delay means that the logs were negative.

He said that the delay in an announcement means nothing, simply that it's taking a little longer. Also, that they have considered putting something out to calm the market but thought that whatever they say might be taken the wrong way.

He said that the log announcement would mention net pay and porosity but that a definitive statement about what they have found could not be made until full testing is complete a couple of weeks after completion of drilling.

He also said that it may not be possible to know fully what is down there without a second well.

Anyway, take from that what you will but I feel better about GDN's prospects now.
