Andy I think you could be right. It appears the shorters use the strategy to sell shares to push the SP down to try to scare shareholders to sell the shares as the SP drops, however when they start realising that the shareholders are no longer selling and that they are the only ones selling I believe they will see it is time to cover their positions and if the FA allows them to go long at that time they will, so I believe this is why these shorters and other fund managers are close to going long on BKL.....the volatility in New York is probably keeping these larger players on the sideline for now, but once it settles down BKL will start moving back up towards $155 - $165 level. remember this all IMO ...GLTAH's....27th October is not far off.
