My view is announcements are more important than charts. If the announcements are good and keep coming the sp goes up. If the announcements are bad or delayed people get nervous take profit(or loss) and run til more good news.
Charts work better over LONG periods of time not in short time spans. As you said had the announcements continued in the expected timeframe the SP would be higher. Decent announcement in the next week will see the SP rise. Nothing or bad news will see the chart continue down until good news then the chart will go up. Plenty of people waiting to get in this at current levels and plenty more ready to bail on runs.
Too many indicating their willingness to sell at the moment on the boards with 5mill wanting out and 1 mill wanting in. When/if good news comes watch the sells disappear, conversly no or bad news and the selling pressure drops the SP. Good luck
