Could you please elaborate on the product certification requirements aspect, are you referring to the amount of product testing they need to undergo?

[(2000hrs/8hrs a day) / 5 working days a week] = 50 working weeks...so the process would take a single person a year of full time work to accomplish?

I don't think I'm interpreting it correctly, but if it really is 2000 hrs then that would be a massive hurdle in it's own right.
