I though the original idea was that we let them keep working the ground that they had always worked even though we now legally owned it, we would try to help them with improved health and safety practices around pit walls falling in etc as they dug deeper down to the watertable, and as we increased the size of the operation in the vicinity these guys would potentially become our workforce of the future if they were capable.
I reckon thats pretty moral and fair.
