I thought the first crushing reply by blazer77 was very clever, so I slunk away. Just over eight hours later - 4635 views, 47 likes, but only 22 posts. Pretty much what I expected - make it clear what the post is about and the masses will bypass it, a few will read it and take the message on board, and a handful will reply with encouragement or sarcasm.

Guess I will have to get used to the irony if I can offer solutions instead of more aimless threads.

Happy Cats suggested I herd cats. What a great idea - who said he was a spoiler? Perhaps I should steer him towards Vanzant (rather welcoming picture), catz987 and grumpycat. Four together would be easier to manage than separately, and then I could get dingok to watch them.
