jitttlatwo7 It puts pretty much into perspective thaat it does not matter what the scriptures write the ones who lead the faith will adapt that to who they can get to follow .
Same for all religion. It will bend once they lose the intrest of the wider public and they rule on fear of death and what happens with something no one can prove?
I dont mind saying im agnostic . But when it comes to death strange things and thoughts happen . The strength of any religion relies around death and the fear of what happens after death .
The rest is rubbish really as it adapts to keeping a belief alive for the purpose of institutions as a means to sustenance .
Dont get me to far off track in that they do do very much good in society as well . But they do rely on growing whatever they do and would weld ultimate power if given the chance be it what ever religion it is .
None of them are of super human powers any more so than black magic till death and we can see that by the many different customs around the world with the dealings of dying . Even of faith many are different and if you can get a following well and good your on your way to your own peace with it even if its not religion.
The church of bacon has as much standing in the world till proven its not just a society of people who wish to follow .
