You can make up all the theories you like about the benefits of homosexuality but the problem you have is that your side is being run by loony extremists. Until you get rid of the extremists you will be tied to them and IMO SSM will not get the public support it needs to go ahead.
I don't believe there are many people in Australia who want their 5 year olds indoctrinated with extremist gender theories, gender fairies, etc. Nor do I believe there are many people in Australia who think having a 35 year old man dressed as a woman use the same changerooms as their 13 year old daughter. The people pushing these extremist ideas are the same people who've pushed the unsafe schools program onto our kids and they're also the loudest supporters of SSM. They're losing the debate for you.
