I agree with your statement. I think it is really about educating people properly about financial matters, and where to, and how to invest.
But that is easier said than done. I have found much animosity when you try show people where to put money, especially when the crowd is doing the opposite. Then, when you end up making a killing, and they are struggling to make ends meet, then they have animosity towards you for being so well off...
You are damned if you do, and damned if you don't...
