Read somewhere many months ago on hotcopper that they signed poor shipping contracts for hauling the iron ore to China - they expire this month and are now up for tender again;
With the oversupply of ships due to the collapse in commodity prices in the past 24 months, the suggestion was that it could be now US$ 5 to $US 6 per tonne cheaper - give the current break-even price has been lowered to US$45 per tonne that comes now to $US39 per tonne.
