There is also the little issue of the American presidency. If Trump even looks like being a remote chance of getting in that gold price is headed north regardless of what the Fed does.
Speaking of the Fed, they will raise rates only if inflation warrants it. What is a good hedge against inflation? Hmmmm.
I could go on about the big risk event no one is talking about yet... the Italian referendum, coming in a month or 2, but I don't think I need to... yet....
