If logic was applied to the refugee situation no country would take in any refugees because in the ME there are 65 million displaced people and sending refugees to Western countries is only scratching the surface and what happens next year and the year after that, most of the ME countries are not helping the situation ,only safe areas are the only solution for the mass of people in the area but the UN would rather grand stand, lecture and badger Western countries to take in refugees in a futile attempt to solve the problem rather than take action to end the fighting.

Spot on there are 67 Million refugees trying to find a place to settle, many economic refugees. Just wait until sub Saharan Africa takes off: we have seen nothing yet.
