NTL - Photos of Talisman, page-2

After a drive on a sealed road, parking in a cul de sac, climbing over a locked gate with a DOC sign on it and a brisk walk up the gravel road (pictures later in this thread showing the road in its entirety) I reached the entrance to the Talisman mine area. This gate is what Protect Karangahake were getting upset about because NTL is going to lock it at some stage.



The walk up the hill was fine and the road is in reasonable condition. I noted the road noise from State Highway 2 was very obvious the whole time I was there. I could hear every car and truck as it drove down the highway.
