Nick was considered a high performer. He was credited with turning Myer's electronics division around and bringing it into profit, which given their price points was no easy task - Just off the top of my head, there are other achievements.
Now he can add crushing a company to his list.
Like any CEO that moves around the ASX, its a hard sell once the screw one company into the ground.
and sadly, front line staff and management don't get 'Employee of the Month'. They get the honour of working in a store that has been closed, in a position they can't leave until they are paid their redundancy/severances/entitlements whilst customers abuse them and consistently remind them that their jobs are suddenly just disappearing into thin air... Or help them to pick at a rotting carcass of a store. But hey, whatever.
