I have a laptop so no speaker wires.

    I haven't got a clue about 'files'.

    madmacs guidelines

    open My Computer/Tools/Folder Options/File types

scroll down to any files such as Wav..Midi..Mpegs..or anything you see associated with Real Audio or Real player...
click on it and If it says opens with RealPlayer
click on change it . and in recommended programms you should see Windows Media Player..Quicktime or any other sound plugins you may have loaded

select Windows Media Player or any other you may have....

When I get to 'file types' I have for example 4 winows media file types & when I choose 'windows media audio/video file' then click on 'change it' the next window in 'recommended programs' has windows media player what do I do next? The box 'always use the selected program to open this kind of file' has a tick in it. The next options are Browse , OK or Cancel.

By the by when I turn my computer on I get a pop up which says 'Files Needed'
    The file 'Relnic51.sys' on Realtek
RTL8139/810x8169/8110 all in one NDIS driver is needed
type the path where the file is located & the click ok.
This is all goobledegook to me.

    Any comments welcome.
