Not sure you can blame shorts anymore. 2.5% of the market cap short side isn't really enough to drill the price as effectively has been seen.
I think people are simply selling out their hands. Aware it's likely a long time until the next significant announcement. Aware they can probably buy back in at a lower price. Aware it's a long time until the next round of cash is in the bank. Aware that all these income delays will affect the ability to move SdV forward. Aware that the sector kingpins are all ramping up significantly. Aware the global market is now awash with 'the next big thing' lithium tenements. And aware that commodity spot prices actually appear to be trending downward.
Not saying this to be contentious, i'm saying this because it appears to be the reality of the situation.
