I am an electrician and have been putting lights in for over 20 years. I just cant imagine most people on the latter side of 50 years old even considering something like this in a residential application, they usually want less complicated things and love plain old light switches.

This is my concern with this, how strong the continued market will be outside of being a novelty at first. Gen X the Millenniums will jump on board possibly, but maybe not if they are trying to pay down exorbitant mortgages at Sydney prices.

Commercial application on the other hand I could see an advantage in many ways and have no doubt there is a benefit there.
