You have "always had a good opinion of this organization". Wow, why did u have a good opinion of AIZ during the Mt Erebus disaster? Not many in NZ ever forgave AIZ, the then National Government (NZ Labor was in power for years due to AIZ's incompetence) and the Mahon Royal Commission of Inquiry (including the ridiculous Privy Council Appeal).
It was the worst incompetent most pathetic management of the history of any airline ever. The CEO, Morrie Davis resigned due to the cover-up found out by the Mahon Royal Commission.
It is a much different organization now but suggesting it has always been "good" organization is a very poor and ignorant understanding of AIZ's history.
