Reading this and also re Closing Hazelwood (Vic) sent both a shiver down my spine and a smile on my dial, As a business any electrical disruption cost me a lot. Electricity was also costing me more and more . Solar PV, LED lights and other things has significantly reduced the cost. RFX is about to add an insurance policy to any electrical disruptions for my business.

What is interesting about electrical disruption and RFX is not just the use of PV power at night it will be the use of Air Conditioners and similar in 'Brown outs'.

I think the load shifting already tested and proved by RFX using ZBM may become one of the main drivers for clean energy. Our home business PV we use or can store. Grid based wind and solar is generated when the wind blows or sun shines. The South Oz issue is avoidable if load shifting capacity existed. The price increases is an issue for consumers. Brown outs or undersupply issues for business can cost significantly and are with storage entirely avoidable. My business income drops to Zero in blackouts or brown outs while my expenses remain.

My only criticism for RFX is
I wish they had a larger credit raising to fund much higher stock levels 12 months ago. Shortly or well before summer I will have mine 2 Zcells installed. My shivers at reading or seeing news is about to be a smile.
