I am not into these patterns that spawn more than 3 days simply because it is Pareidolia most times. Wedge pattern if I understand correct is a reversal and not a continuation. The ascending triangle/symmetrical are continuation.
Again, pattern aside, just like math indicators/trendlines or whatever retail tools, I believe it is price action that generates them and not the other way around.
