Anyone who is a skeptic has been sucked in by the general lobbying against clean energy and the muddying of the science of climate change. The only solution so far for transport fuels is from batteries based on lithium. Hydrogen is extremely problematic. The only reason I can think of for some companies touting hydrogen is because they have extensive networks for distribution of liquid fuels which will be worth nothing if lithium batteries eventually take over.
There is no reason at all to be skeptical of lithium. That would be like being skeptical of oil during the 20th century.
