re: the big biotech hope I am on the verge of going in hard on this stock and accumulating for the next few weeks ....

before the FDA grants QFTG-IT licence which I believe will send the stock soaring...


One thing is holding me back.....

Competitors....


I know the TST is finished....


But I would not write off.... as Gavin does

"The Elispot (or T-Spot) is the one other new test for LTBI. Elispot uses the same antigens as QFTG, and is a similarly highly accurate test. However, apart from costing two to three times as much as a QFTG test, the Elispot application technology is slow, unwieldy and labour intensive. It is hopelessly impractical for routine diagnostic use and for the mass testing market.

Elispot is not a viable competitor to QFTG. The product has CE Marking, which is a self-assessment approval system for sale in Europe. Elispot does not have the independent US Food & Drug Authority (FDA) or Japanese FDA approvals.
