No, I do not think anything is sinister, I just think Teva walked because surrogate endpoints were not met, nothing at all sinister in that.

The clause in the terms of the development contract, if you care to read it, is that Teva could walk if surrogate endpoints were not met as defined.

Why is enacting this clause "generous"? There were no payment obligations either way?

Teva had the right under this clause to quit funding the project, I believe they did just that.

As for them still owning equity in Mesoblast - so what? They hang on to them on the off-chance that they go up, they might sell them - who knows? Nothing to do with what they thought of the surrogate endpoints.

You were asking about 2 other questions, I did not know you wanted to discuss the catheter - I guess I should have anticipated it however. @Techinvestor has given you an answer, it is more widely used and so speeds up recruitment - not a bad thing at all.

Tell me, when the ATM facility kick-starts, do you expect the presence of the catheter to make any difference to the outcome?

Also, do you expect Teva to, once again, be filled with regret when they come to realise that the new catheter is being called into action, just as you supposed they were when they missed out on Celgene's "exclusive" run at non-inflammatory product treatments.
