I am reading the annual report; I like the bit about balancing the near term and the medium/longer term objectives. I like that there is a focus on the near term and that they have used phrases such as "in the early part of 2017 calendar year". There does seem to be a refreshed attitude/commitment with the new board and a refreshed determination to push ahead to sales. My lingering concern is if getting sales was simply a matter of having someone in the job of sales manager then why didn't the previous board do that? If getting the zeiss product to market was simply a matter of flying over there and having a good chat then why didn't the previous guys do that?

I feel like I am playing the role of the perma bear a bit here, which is not my intention. It's great we have new management, a few bucks and are still in the game. But even though I can see that things are moving along and that management is offering the right "talk", I guess I will really only feel confident when the "walk" bit happens; ie. show us the money from sales......

maybe it will be a case of the years and years of preparation and hard work are done by one lot and then another management team comes in and wins the premiership in their first year as coach; I hope so.
