No answer as to why the pylons were only built for a 1 in 10 year event. Obviously they were not built for a 1 in 50 year event. Some dams are built for a 1 in a 1000 year event.
Come back Jay, stop hiding. Ok, a backup generator went down at a hospital. Life saving equipment has battery backup and that saved lives. Patients were moved elsewhere.
