Well spoke to my contacts at the DMP and they are watching Chinese NSE closely.
NSE have a massive re-hab issues (nothing done at all according my contact) at the last two wells and the cancelled third well in the Canning which already had sump, mud pits and well site cleared.
So it might well be that NSE want to relinquish these last two permits but the DMP say, sorry re-hab before you can.
