The climate has been changing for billions of years and will keep on changing for billions more!!
IMO, it is more important to look at opportunities in areas geared to ADAPTATION to climate change!
Otherwise you get people like Flannery making pronouncements on no sound basis and Guvnuts jumping to attention and sending the country / States broke!
Yes, those scientists - if my funding was dependant on saying positive things about climate change, hey I would make a minor adjustment here or there to come up with some rubbish to keep everyone happy and the funds flowing; refer eg the following article re IPCC:
Let me finish with this observation: these guys make predictions for a hundred years hence on climate change based on modelling!! Just read up bit about modelling and you might see the light!! The Himalayan glacier stuff is not an isolated incident - there are many more "corrections"!!
