It is a sign of desperation, true. They are trying something I guess. This benefits the broker. I won't be selling though. Why would I sell at 12c? Any of us smaller holders with $20k parcels have been able to sell them anytime any day since the IPO. All this does it give the bigger parcel a window to clear out. I would have prefer they find an off market transfer for those clients if they are worried about a big line of stock trying to push through.
Just sad that this is the best idea they have. Clearly his roadshows aren't working. Clearly the market things this baby is on the nose, which is a shame because we know its a cracker of a company. Alas, it's chinese isn't it. I don't think I'll ever put a dollar into a Chinese float again. I do think I would like to invest in a fund that takes a stake in these stocks and goes activist on them. That could find a good 50% return
