yes i have briefly thought about the scenario you mention above however im rather happy about it to be honest. i hold in my own name also, not as many as in the smsf but enough to make a massive difference. i would like to hold out for possible dividends before considering selling any of the personal stash, but if some are sold to build the dream car and buy a big block of land, i will be content in the fact that theres more ede elsewhere (no sellers remorse if the keep climbing north!).
